This house was next door to the Homestead and was lived in by the Benson’s- a couple who ran the stables and organized the Groton Hunt every year. I still remember the hunt gathering at the homestead in the mid 1970’s. The Benson’s barn had an amazing room filled with pictures of the hunt along with ribbons and trophies. It was a magical place. I wonder if any of those photos were taken by Caroline?
